Communications Specialist

Kathryn Fallucco came to Cascade Communications in March 2009 as an intern and assisted on a variety of projects for several clients before being promoted to Communications Specialist.  In her new role, she implements social media campaign strategy management for clients, offers client and account support, reasearch, media relations and event promotion, and assists in new program and business development.

Her position at Cascade has afforded the chance for Kathryn to shadow several local TV producers, learn to manage event media, client TV news shoots, develop her own style of building relationships with media and successfully achieve news stories for her clients.

She has become passionate about the importance of giving back through managing Cascade Communication's pro bono projects including Safe Girls, Strong Girls, Kids Caring 4 Kids, and assisting with the Talking Pictures Film Festival.  Kathryn is instrumental in managing the agency's "Boost" program and boutique clientele.

Kathryn was fortunate to have experienced a variety of challenging public relations internships before coming to Cascade, including the American Cancer Society in Des Moines, IA and Rogers & Cowan in New York City. She graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys traveling and volunteering with Life Source and environmental causes.
